Malabar United signs Kerala striker K Firoz

K Firoz Malabar United yesterday signed Kerala striker and former Viva player from Manjeri K Firoz on a one year contract.

Firoz played for Viva Kerala when they qualified for A league 2 seasons before. Later he was absorbed for the Oxygen Pharma club Thrissur. Firoz was injured last season and missed the opportunity to register with the main division clubs last season. Subsequently he signed with Evergreen Manjeri.

Firoz was included in Kerala probables and was spotted by Malabar officials who asked him to appear for trials last week. Firoz also had offer from SBT

Malabar United is coached by Najeeb and are reported to start their training camp from next month at Kozhikode.
