Patrick Raman Sisupalan Lying at the bottom of the I-League table at the end of seven matches, the mood in their camp is certainly not rosy. Several players have been complaining of not having received their cheques on time.

Wisut Bunpeng, the Thai striker, has been declared unfit and will be asked to leave while Patrick Sisupalan claims the same.

“They haven’t paid me for October and the chairman suggested that I leave. There’s another meeting on the coming Monday and if they don’t pay me on time, I won’t play for them,” said Sisupalan. Several Indian players too haven’t received their payment for the month of October and aren’t pleased one bit about it.

Meanwhile, coach A.M.Sreedharan stated that Sisupalan hadn’t been showing up for training since last Monday and added that Bunpeng has been not in the best condition.

“I spoke to Sisupalan and asked him as to why he wasn’t turning up. Bunpeng hasn’t played up to the mark,” said Sreedharan.

The club’s managing director Liaquat Ali opines that Sisupalan has some medical complications of which he has documents.

“Sisupalan is not fit to play. There are some medical issues and I have the papers with me. I’ll speak to him on Monday. As far as Bunpeng is concerned, he is an injured player.

“We have been paying the money on time. There are no such concerns,” said Ali.
