Kerala State U-14 Championship from today
The Kerala State under – 14 Football Championship 2009 will be held from today at Govt High School Ground, Panampally Nagar, Ernakulam. All the 14 districts in Kerala will battle among themselves to be crowned the state champions.
The first round matches will take place on 5th and 6th of December on a knock out basis. The teams which win their match in Round 1 will qualify for the quarter finals.
The fixtures of Round 1 is as follows:
5th December:
07:00 am – Kannur vs Trivandrum
08:30 am – Kozhikode vs Idukki
02:45 pm – Thrissur vs Kollam
04:00 pm - Alappuzha vs Pathanamthitta
6th December:
08:30 am – Wayanad vs Kasaragod
02:45 pm – Kottayam vs Palakkad
Hosts Ernakulam and the defending champions Malappuram have won direct entry into the quarter finals of the competition where they will meet winners of the first round clash.
