Kerala State U14 boys for National Football festival

The Kerala team for the AIFF U14 Boys’ Football Festival 2009-10 to be held at Jamshedpur (Jharkand) was shortlisted after a two week camp at Janaseva Sishu Bhavan Angamali.

The U14 boys team will be under the guidance of AFC C license coach Soly Xavier. Hanan Javed from Malappuram, who had earlier represented India at the AFC U13 Football Festival held in Tehran (Iran), is the captain of the team.

His fellow India U13 team mate Anis K is also part of the team. Striker Mohammed Sajil, who scored a hat-trick for Malappuram in the finals of the recently concluded Inter-district U14 Championship is also in the team.

The tournament will kick of on 7th January.
