Manorama Gold Cup: SBT tastes victory
SBT won for a solitary goal against Indian Navy Mumbai, today at the third day of the quarter final league matches here at Seethi Haji flood lit stadium Edavanna,Malappuram
Rakesh scored the goal at the 16th minute of the game for the bankmen accepting a beautiful pass from the captain Abdul Noushad beating advancing Navy goal keeper.
SBT had more chances and had almost scored in 35th minute of the play when shot from the Abdul Noushad kissing the goal post on way out.
Both the teams played attacking game providing the spectators to some good end to end football.
Indian navy sticked to long range passes which defended well by SBT.
SBT fielded without the Striker Asif Shaheer who missed out due to an injury and Abdul Basheer who was sent off by the referee during their last match
Indian Navy Mumbai will meet Akbar Travels FC Mumbai tomorrow
