South Asian Games Women’s Football: India Senior Women keep on winning
India Senior Women kept their dominance in the 11th South Asian Games women’s football tournament and trounced the hosts Bangladesh 7-0 in their last round robin league match played at the Bangabandhu Stadium here on Saturday.
India has already qualified for the final emerging as invincible in the league stage. Naobi Chanu scored an impressive hat-trick, while Mandakini scored a brace. Kamala Devi and Geeta Rani too added their names in the score sheet scoring one goal each.
India will now take on Nepal in the grand finale to be played on February 8.
