Dutta Ray| Quater-final League – Kerala in Group B
The quarter-final league of the 19th Dutta Ray Under-21 championship will kick off tomorrow.
Teams have been divided into two groups. Group A consists of Defending Champions Punjab, Hosts Haryana, perennial contenders Goa and Delhi. Whereas, Group B consists of dark-horse Kerala, Jharkand, Meghalaya and Andhra Pradesh. Group A matches will be held in Gurgaon while Faridabad will host the Group B games.
Kerala beat traditionally strong Manipur in Cluster V in a double-legged play-off to qualify for the quarter-final league. The last time Kerala won the tournament was way back in 1995 and the current team will be looking to script their name on the honor list again.
