Meghalaya pulled a rabbit of it hat as they defeated Kerala 1-0 to show them the exit gate from the U-21 Championship. Meghalaya after going down in both the matches have already been ruled out for a place in the last four.
Meghalaya finished third, while Kerala finished fourth in the Group B with two points.
Jharkhand beat Andhra Pradesh 1-0 but both teams advanced to the semifinals.
