Viva Kerala’s pre-season training to start in August

Viva Kerala will begin its pre-season training at Udyogmandal FACT Training Ground from August 10, 2010. There were reports in the local media that the club is in serious financial trouble and are on the verge of shutting down.

The Club Chairman, P Bhaskaran, said the press that the club is hoping to sign a few good players in the coming days. Also defenders Charles Dzisah and Bello Razaq has put pen to a new one year contact. Viva has also acquired the signature of Chandni FC’s Javed OK to boost the striking department.

It is also rumored that the club is after Junior Indian International midfielder Pradeep Mohanraj. The team will miss the services of Surjith VV (KSEB), MP Sakeer who joined Churchill Brothers and Sirajudeen C and Noushad K who were signed by Chirag United. The final team list for the 2010-11 season will be publishing in a few days time. The club also informed that three companies has come forward to sponsor the team in the new season.
