Tamil Nadu Eleven takes the title

August 29th, 2010 Section: VP Sathyan Memorial Tournament

PC Riju who scored an Hattrick for Tamil Nadu Tamil Nadu Eleven beat Integral Coach Factory, Chennai by a solitary goal to be crowned the champions at the VP Sathyan Memorial Football Tournament conducted by All India Malayali Association (AIMA) at Chennai.

The winning goal was headed in by A Charles in the 4th minute of the second half. His header came from a well taken corner by Keralite Rajesh. Man of the match in the final was another Keralite PC Riju.

Andhra Eleven’s Mohammed Mausam was declared player of the tournament. The prize money of Rs. 50,000 was awarded to Tamil Nadu Eleven by the president of AIMA, Gokulam Gopalan. Runners up were awarded Rs. 30,000.

    tamilnadu 1X win this tournement, but credit malayali football player in this team, R Rajesh, riju, charles, sabeeth. but KFA not see this players for playing kerala football team why? where is KFA? why should go to good kerala player another state? who responce?
