Kerala was held to 1-1 draw by Chandigarh in the final match of Cluster 6 in Dutta Ray trophy at Fatorda Stadium. Kerala had already won both of their previous matches by margin of 7-1 against Arunachal Pradesh and 5-0 against Gujarat with Midhun Wilwet scoring hat-trick in both matches.

With this draw Kerala has qualified for the Quarter finals. Goa,Haryana,Punjab, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram and West Bengal has also qualified.
Kerala has been grouped with Haryana, Punjab, and Meghalaya in group B
Group A is made of Goa, Assam, Mizoram and West Bengal

We have been fairing quite awkwardly in age group competitions now. Looks like there is a real slack in our otherwise decent youth set up.
We got kicked out in the early stages of 45th Junior National Football Championship 2008 - 09 for Dr BC Roy Trophy which happened dec 08/ jan09.
Hope we make it this time around.
