Viva Kerala’s long wait for the Rs. 25 lakh cash award promised by the Kerala government when it first qualified for the premier National Football League (now I-League) will finally end tomorrow.
The cash award, which was promised to the club two years ago, will be presented at a function at the BTH Hotel here on Thursday.
Sports Minister M. Vijayakumar, Kerala State Sports Council President T.P. Dasan, Kerala Football Association President K.M.I. Mather and Viva Kerala Club chairman P. Bhaskaran and secretary Liaquat Ali are among those expected to attend the function
