K Kunhirman - the Manager of the Football Friend Free Coacing Centere - dies at the age of 75. Kunhiraman, who was recieving treatment at the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital, passed away at 6:45 am, Sunday.
K Kunhiraman is the co-founder of the Football Friend Coaching Centre which was started in the year of 1978 along with NT Karunakaran. The coaching centre gives training for young players between the age of 10 and 12 who shows interest and talent in Football. The Academy has gifted several top class players to Kerala and India.
The Centre give kids, football training absolutely free of cost. Kunhiraman and Karunakaran also published a magazine named Football Friend.
Kunhiraman has always been a shining figure in Kerala football for more than 3 decades. In the early days, Kunhiraman was a worker at Cannanore Spinning Mill, Kakkatt. Later he acted as the member of Spirited Youths Club, Kannur and became one of the founder of the Veteran Football Association.
K Kunhiraman is the son of late Raman and Kalyani. Wife: Late Karthiaini. He has 3 daughters named Anitha, Geetha and Reeta.

Having been part of the first batch of Football Friend Coaching center and seen Kunhiraman closely, his organizational and influential skills were exemplary that kept the coaching camp alive for this long. My condolences to Kunhiraman's family and to Karunettan who will miss him very much.
