Here, we take a look at the matches that are already played in the Thiruvananthapuram District Super Division League Football 2009.

6 teams play each other in the tournament which finds  the champions of football in Thiruvananthapuram District of Kerala.

02-08-2009:

**Titanium 3-0 Black Arrow
**In the first day of the premier football competition of Thiruvananthapuram district, powerhouse Titanium XI defeated Black Arrows FC for 3 goals which was not returned. Titanium lead the first half with a goal from T Usman. In the second half, they doubled the lead by another strike from Usman. Shabeer KP scored the third for Titanium.

**St. Mary's FC 2-0 Coastal Club
**In the other match of the opening day, St. Mary's FC overcame Coastal Club with second half goals from Tommy and Johnson.

03-08-2009:

SBT 5-0 St. Mary's FC Defending champion State Bank of Travancore started its campaign with an emphatic 5-0 win over St. Mary’s FC in the Thiruvananthapuram district super division football league at the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium here on Monday.

SBT opened scoring through Abdul Hakkim in the 20th minute. St. Mary’s defence which had put up a brave show eventually caved in against its superior rival and Asif Saheer increased the lead in the 30th minute with a volley from top of the box. The striker scored his second goal five minutes later as SBT led 3-0 at half-time.

The bankmen dominated the second half but missed plenty of chances and even hit the post once. Johnson slotted in a rebound to score the fourth goal in the 75th minute and Martin Johnson completed the tally in the 78th minute.

Keltron FC 1-0 Coastal Club Keltron Football Club scored a solitary goal win over Coastal Club. Striker Viu scored the all-important goal in the 65th minute.

04-08-2009:

SBT 1-0 Black Arrows State Bank of Travancore overcame Black Arrows by a solitary goal to record its second straight win in the Thiruvananthapuram District super division football league on Tuesday. Mohammed Aslam scored the match-winner.

KSEB 1-0 Keltron FC In another match, Rakesh scored the winner as KSEB started its campaign with a 1-0 win over Keltron.

05-08-2009:

Titanium 2-0 St. Mary's FC Titanium rode on Usman’s brace to beat St. Mary’s FC 2-0 in the only Thiruvananthapuram district super division football league match at the Chandrasekharan Nair stadium on Wednesday.

Usman’s twin strikes in space of five minutes killed the contest. St. Mary’s had managed to frustrate its superior rival with its defensive tactics. Titanium strikers Ebin Rose and Usman were crammed for space and most of the moves fizzled out as it entered the rival box. St. Mary’s to its credit managed to keep its goal intact in the first half.

St. Mary’s nearly pulled off a goal in a counter attack early in the second half. Usman finally managed to evade his marker to slot in the first goal in the 55th minute.

Mohammed Hammed did the spadework for the second goal as he moved down the right flank and hoodwinked a couple of defenders to send in a precise cross which was headed in by Usman. Ebin had another opportunity to increase the lead but his header was saved by the goalkeeper. This is Titanium’s second consecutive win in the league.

06-08-2009:

SBT 7-0 Keltron FC State Bank of Travacore crushed Keltron 7-0 in the Thiruvananthapuram district super division league at the Medical College ground on Thursday.

Braces from Asif Saheer (5th and 10th) and Kabeer (20th and 23rd) set up the easy win for SBT which recorded its second win in the league. Martin (70th), Anish (72nd) and Shafi (76th) netted one apiece.

KSEB 1-0 Coastal Club Earlier, KSEB struggled to score a solitary goal win over Coastal Club. The match-winner was scored by Naushad Pari in the 65th minute. This is the second win for KSEB.

07-08-2009:

Titanium 0-3 KSEB Kerala State Electricity Board defeated the Travancore Titanium team, emphatically in the only match of 7th August in the Thiruvananthapuram District Super Divison League. The Full time score was Titanium 0 KSEB 3.

08-08-2009:

Black Arrows 1-1 St. Mary's FC Black Arrows Football Club and St. Mary's FC shared the points in this match which wraps up our overview of the Thiruvananthapuram Super Division Football League.
