The 20 days AFC ‘B’ certificate course that started on 9th August, 2009 concluded on 29th August, 2009 with 26 participants actively participating in the course. In the Course conducted by Gabriel Joseph the AFC Course Instructor and the Director of Coaching of AIFF, a total of 26 candidates participated.
The highlight of the course was that Gabriel Joseph brought the computer presentations and used advanced technologies such as the event capturing equipments like video camera, digital cameras, to have a very high quality presentation by capturing the whole activities that took place in the course and the activities of the participants to analyze themselves.
Besides using advanced technologies in the course, interactive software and online tools for soccer was used to educate the participants with the help of the experienced I.T technical support person Charles.
All the coaches participated in this AFC ‘B’ course in Jamshedpur unanimously voiced their high appreciation regarding the top level quality in which the course was conducted. The participants underwent 3 practical examinations and 3 theoretical examinations during the course.
Following were the participants of the AFC ‘B’ certificate: Sebastiao Roberto Fernandes, Levino Anthony Pereira, Ajay Gopal Acharya, Alfred Joaquim Fernandes, Bernard A Oparanozie, Ravi Bahu, J L Andrew, Xavier Pius, Alphonse Josi (both Kerala), Satyabrata Bhowmick, Prasanta Chakraborty, Sahadeb Kumar Bhowmick, Sankarlal Chakraborty, Kuntala Ghosh Dastidar, Protim Ghosh, Nim Dorjee Bhutia, Karma Dorjee Lepcha, Suren Kumar Chettri, Wangkhem Khogen Singh, Shivananda Singh, Karno Mushahary, Santanu Basu, Raj Kumar Singha, Jarnail Singh, Tapan Kumar Guchhait, L Kamalakanta Singh. Birtbal Singh was the Assistant Instructor for the course.
