Viva Kerala's away match against Churchill Brothers in I League, scheduled for October 6 has been shifted to Vasco SC's Tilak Stadium after incessant rains rendered the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium unplayable.
The Kerala club is hoping for the rains to let up so that their trip to Goa does not go waste. "We practised at the Tilak Stadium for the last 2 days and players are fully fit", said Viva KErala Team Mangaer Prashanthan.
Earlier Viva's opening tie against Salgaocar Sports Club, which was to be played on Saturday, was cancelled. "The cancelled match against Salgaocar is likely to be scheduled for November when I-League takes a break," added Prashanthan.
