Indian international Nadumparambil Pappachan Pradeep is pleased after his side edged past East Bengal 3-2 to register their first win in the I-League.
"It was a tough match and we fought hard to clinch all three points. East Bengal took the lead, but we did come back strongly and converted our chances to win the match," told Pradeep to IndianFootball.Com.
It was a personal milestone for the Keralite as it was his first-ever goal in the I-League and it happened to be the decisive goal of the match.
Pradeep had to sit out for most of the last season after having issues with the former coach Derrick Perreria. "Last season I only started in five games and this season I would be looking to perform consistently," he added.
Mahindra United will face Salgaocar SC in their next I-League match on October 18.
