The Ernakulam District Sports Council (EDSC) organized a mass run to mark the Kerala Sports Day on Tuesday. Arjuna Award winners Mercy Kuttan and George Thomas led a pack of 65 runners flagged off by the EDSC President VA Zakir Hussain.
Thirty five trainees from the Government Sports Hostel, Panampilly Nagar, along with 10 footballers from the Vision India under-13 coaching program at Sacred Hearts High School, Thevara, and 10 students from Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Girinagar, took part in the run from Panampilly Nagar to the Rajendra Maidan.
