Akbar Travels FC Mumbai Entered into semi finals defeating Indian Navy Mumbai for 3 goals against 1 (3-1)
Niyas Rahman opened scoring for Akbar Travels FC at the 21st minute of the play on receiving a beautiful pass from the Nigerian striker Ineg Bemnic Pedro. But Indian Navy Mumbai striker Raman Rai equalised the match by scoring a brilliant goal at the 23rd minute.
Shahul Hameed put Akbar back on to the lead with an assist from Niyas Rahman to take the score at half time to 2-1.
In the second half Indian Navy changed their goal keeper Premjith Meitei and fielded Sujan Suku. But their strike force were not good enough to breach Akbars defence. Akbar Travels took the game away with another strike at 73th minute of the game
SBT Trivandrum will play the next match of the group tomorrow against Josco FC Kochi.
