All Kerala Inter-College Football: St. Xavier’s in semifinals

St. Xavier’s College (Thiruvananthapuram) defeated Baselius (Kottayam) 2-0 and entered the semifinals of the Mar Thoma Trophy All-Kerala inter-collegiate football tournament at the Mar Thoma College Ground here on Tuesday.
Sheriff (19th minute) and Prasanth (54th) scored the goals.

Earlier, Maharaja’s (Ernakulam) blanked Amrita (Mysore) 4-0 and entered the quarterfinals.

The results: Quarterfinals: St. Xavier’s, Thumba, Thiruvananthapuram 2 (Sheriff 19th, Prasanth 54th) bt Baselius, Kottayam 0.

Pre-quarterfinals: Maharaja’s, Ernakulam 4 (Jineesh 9th, Saneesh 40th, Prajeesh 45th, Ansar 50th) bt Amrita, Mysore 0.
