In another all Kerala affair at the I-League 2, Chandni FC, Calicut and Malabar United shared the points in a tightly contested encounter at Bengaluru.
Chandni FC had featured in the last edition of the second division also, but it was the fellow state club Malabar United who took the lead in the second half. Jitesh found his name in the score sheet at the 77th minute.
They say that you are most vulnerable just after scoring a goal and it was proved correct when Chandni FC restored parity in the 78th minute. This time it was Kerala’s Santhosh Trophy striker KP Zubair who scored.
