Tamil Nadu Eleven and Integral Coach Factory, Chennai will rub shoulders in the final of the VP Sathyan Memorial Football Tournament 2010 held by All India Malayali Association (AIMA) at Chennai.
Both the teams advanced from the semi finals by the help of penalty shootout. Tamil Nadu Eleven and Andhra Eleven scored one goal each at the end of the extra time, but Andhra Eleven's AR Nayidu could not convert the third spotkick in the shootout favoring the match to Tamil Nadu Eleven.
Integral Coach Factory defeated Chennai Customs 5-4 in the penalty shoot out, thanks to save from ICF keeper Staheesh. Neither team scored in the 120 minutes of open play.
The final of the tournament will be held from 5:00 PM IST on August 28, 2010.
