Churchill Brothers demolished Musli Power X-tra Viva Kerala in their opening match in Group B of the Federation Cup 2010 quarter final league scoring four goals without reply from the Kerala club.
All the three foreigners - the defensive duo of Charles Dzisah and Bello Razzaq and the newly acquired Nigerian striker Ayuba Mbwas Mangut - featured for the Viva, but was not a match for Churchill's foreign line up of Odafe Okolie, Koko Sakibo and Rouhollah Sameinia who were the scorers for the Goans.
Viva Kerala, who began their pre-season training just ten days before leaving for Goa, lacked the practice that is required to face one of the best teams in the country. Viva managed to hold Churchill Brothers from scoring till the 39th minute of the first half. Koko Sakibo scoring from a controversial position that Viva players and management claimed to be offside.
It was 1-0 when both the teams took the lemon break, but a brace from Odafe Okolie in the 57th and 65th minute made any chances of a comeback for the Kerala club impossible. The first goal was from a penalty spot as Odafe was brought down in the box by Bello Razzaq. in the 75th minute, Sameinia scored the fourth from a powerful left footer, thanks to a pass from Khan Thang Paite, rounding off Churchill's impressive start to the Federation Cup 2010.
Musli Power X-tra Viva Kerala will now take on Chirag United on 23rd September at the Tilak Maitan, Goa while Churchill will play Sesa Football Academy on the same day.

In another match of Group B, Chirag United defeated Sesa Football Academy by a solitary goal scored by captain Denson Devdas. Denson scored in the 19th minute of the game.
