Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2010-11 at Ernakulam and Kozhikode

The Kerala leg of Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2010-11 Under-14 Inter-School Football League will be held at Ernakulam and Kozhikode from 13th of December, 2010. The tournament will be conducted by the Kozhikode and Ernakulam District Football Associations of the Kerala Football Association (KFA) in association with Procam International Limited, Mumbai.

A total of 56 Kerala school teams will take part in the national championship, which is launched by the Mahindra group to scout young footballing talents of the country and providing a competitive framework to hone their skills. 28 teams will participate in each of the two legs at Ernakulam and Kozhikode. The winner of the Kozhikode leg will take on the winner of Ernakulam leg in the Kerala Final which will be held at the EMS Corporation Stadium, Kozhikode on 24th December, 2010 at 03:00 PM.

The winning school will get a chance to represent Kerala in the national tournament and also a cash prize of Rs. 30,000. The runners up get Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 7,500 will be given to each zonal loosers. Added to it, many trophies and individual mementos are to be given away.

The semi finals of the Kozhikode leg will be held on December 20, 2010 and December 21, 2010 at the EMS Corporation Stadium and the final on December 23, 2010 followed by the State final on 24th December.
