Viva Kerala under - 19 team that participated in the Under - 19 Football Tournament for I-League clubs returned home after a disappointing campaign at Phagwara, Punjab. After getting beaten by the hosts in the opening match, they faced HAL Bangalore with outcome being the same.

HAL's under 19 dominated the match in terms of both possession and chances on goal and ran away with a 3-1 win in their first match of the group stage. The only goal for Viva in the tournamnet was scored by Abhishek N Joshy who was impresive in the first match too.

JCT Mills FC and HAL Bangalore has three points to their names. JCT and HAL will now meet each other in The group decider on Saturday (April 30, 2011).

Don't worry about the current results,iam sure that we have got some gr8 players in our team.Hard work is the only match winner and there must be good understanding with the players. . .i couldn't attend the last trials and iam sure that i will be with the team by next seasön.iam juz 17 nw. . .
