Second half set to begin here in front of a crowd of around 40,000 today at Kochi.

That’s the half time break. No goals, but a lot of action happening in the first 45 minutes.

In 2012, Services coached by Malayali Sajith Kumar knocked out Kerala in the semi finals with a 2-1 scoreline. Time for some revenge today?

Services who were winners in 1960 and last time in 2012 and Kerala have come head to head 12 times in the Santosh Trophy. Kerala came out on top in 3 occasions while Services had the better of today’s hosts five times.

Kerala’s 13th appearance in the final of Santosh Trophy National Football Championships. They have won the competition five times before, the first being in 1973 at the Maharaja’s College Ground, Kochi and the latest being at New Delhi in 2004. Kerala were winners in 1973, 1991, 1992, 2000 and 2004.
