Indian national football team head coach Wim Koevermans has named a 30 member probables list for the preparatory camp ahead of its international friendly against Tajikistan in Khujand on Wednesday, August 14.
Recent national team regulars from Kerala, Asif K and Vineeth CK, both players of Prayag United SC in I-League, have found themselves among the names in the list announced by Koevarmans on Tuesday. Both players were teammates at Chirag United Kerala before making their move to Kolkata. Karma Tsewang, who has also plied his trade in Kerala with Viva Kerala FC has been called into the camp.
Dawson Fernandes (Sporting Clube de Goa) and Mohammed Rafique (Prayag United SC) gets their first call to the senior team while, Lalrindika Ralte (Kingfisher East Bengal) makes a return to the team.
The squad to travel to Tajikistan will be finalized by Koevarmans in the coming days/ Central Asian side Tajikistan are ranked 106 in the FIFA World Rankings.
