The first Kerala State Schools Football League is getting more exciting reaching its closing stages. A hard fought win over KPR Gopalan Memorial, Kannur ensured Mampad get to 12 points in their 5 matches.
With just one match remaining against St. John's Eraviperoor, Govt. VHSS Mampad is still not certain of snatching the first ever Schools League powered by AFC's Vision Kerala project.
Sacred Hearts Thevara has been in fine form playing great game. They have secured 9 points from their 4 matches so far and re to play the 2 teams in the bottom of the table. Expecting them to win over the two matches, we would see the title being given away on goal difference.
With Akshay Joshi scoring at will Sacred Hearts will have little problems to catch up their goal difference.
The match on 21st against St. Joseph's Boys HSS U13, Calicut, which is the final match of the tournament will be the cup decider.
