Sabeeth extends Viva contract

Indian U19 forward C Sathyan Sabeeth signed a further contract with Viva Kerala and will be a member of next season's I-League squad.

Team Manager K. Prasanth, who is in Chennai currently, also managed to get the signature of another coveted player.

Midfielder Fredrick Shabariyar, nicknamed Fredy, also put pen to paper to a contract. He is currently in the Tamil Nadu Santosh Trophy camp. A native of Kerala, he has played for Indian Bank last season. He scored seven goals in 11 matches. Apart from Viva Kerala, Mumbai FC was interested in signing the player.
