The Gujarat Team for the Santosh Trophy 2009 has been announced and surprisingly 3 Kerala based players ahve made their way into the squad.
The Gujarat Team will be led by TA Mani, who is from Erumapetty in Thrissur District of Kerala. Mani is a player of Baroda Rangers FC and will represent gujarat for the 5th time running.
Mani will be accompanied by Vinesh P Pattath from Irinjalakuda, Thrissur and Sarath R Pilla from Pouthreshwaram, Kollam who will be playing second Santosh Trophy of their careers.
Gujarat will face Haryana in their first match of 2009 Santosh Trophy on 25th May.

These mallus are in becoz of the managers and disorganized sellection procedure. The paradox is that one of them was never in the first 11 of his team and he gets sellected to represent the state. Wake up Gujarat football, wake up. There are better players in the state but they never get a chance as they don't have godfather nor they have any ass licking skills like these mallus do. These mallus are bunch of ass lickers. Bloody leaches.......
