The Don Bosco College of Physical Education at Panjim is planning to start a six month diploma course in Football Studies in affiliation with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The course is supposed to start from January 2010. The Don Bosco College has already held discussions with the AFC officials at Goa and the course content will now be reviewed by the AFC.
The Diploma course would encompass various aspects of football such as officiating, sports medicine and administration. The course would be mainly for the Goan boys and girls but it would remain open to interested students from other parts of India as well.
