Former Salgaocar striker PK Anil Kumar will not join the I-Leagie side Chirag United this transfer window.
Anil Kumar played his part for Salgaocar in the I-League Division II and helped them to gain promotion in next season’s I-League. That good showing earned the striker offers from many clubs and eventually he had decided to join Kolkata club Chirag United as he wanted to be a part of the passion that exists in the City Of Joy.
The Keralite was on the verge of signing for the Bengal team as reported by footballkerala earlier, but he was not able to get leave to join the team this season from his employer - The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). The player said. "The deal was almost done. But, I was not able to leave."
As a result, he will continue playing for the KSEB team for another season.
