Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka will host the sixth South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) Championship from December 1 to 15.
All the eight South Asian countries, including defending champions Maldives, four-time champions India, Afghanistan, Bhutan, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the hosts will take part in this biennial competition.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) President Kazi Salahuddin expressed his satisfaction over the announcement and promised a world-class organisation.
The draw for the event will be made on October 3 during the SAFF Congress in Dhaka.
