Viva Kerala arrived at about 4pm yesterday in Goa to play the first match against Salgaocar.
The team isstaying at Saj Hotel in Margao. First practice session which was scheduled today at 9 30am was affected by heavy rain and has been postponed to 3 30 pm. It has been raining for past few days in Goa and the condition is expected to remain the same during the match day.
The team management has decided to go ahead with the practice session in the evening even though it has been drizzling.
The other news from Goa is that the matches would be held in daylight as last season. The matches at Fatorda stadium was expected to be played under floodlight this season but the preparation has been delayed and the opening matches will be played at 4pm in daylight.
