Viva's opening match at Goa against Salgaocar has been cancelled due to heavy rain.
Official release from AIFF came sighting that the I League Round I Match 4 between Salgaoar SC and Viva Kerala scheduled on Saturday,3rd Oct at PJN Stadium, Fatorda, Margao has been cancelled due to heavy rains for the last two days in Goa.
Viva earlier had a couple of hours training session at Vasco SC grounds.
There are speculations that the match will not be played at Fatorda stadium as the pitch is holding a lot of water. In that case Vasco SC grounds might be the venue. However the final decision will be known only tomorrow.
The team will stay back in Goa as the they are scheduled to play Champions Churchill Brothers on 6th October in the next round.
