Noushad: Our coach’s life is football!

Viva Kerala’s Kozhikodan wing back, K Noushad shared his thoughts with footballkerala.com and he was all praise for his coach AM Sreedharan and his teammates.

The Viva player will be unavailable for their next match at Mumbai against Mahindra United due to an ankle injury which he picked up a month ago during practice. “I was playing against East Bengal on pain killers. But I again twisted my ankle during the match,” Noushad, who has stayed back at Calicut to recover from injury, said.

Noushad was in the starting line up against the Kolkata club, but was pulled off in the first half of the game.

The Viva Kerala team will face Mahindra United on 6th November and the team reached Mumbai on Wednesday. “We have been playing good football, but the results are not coming! Finishing is the only problem the team face,” Noushad said. He said that Viva has a very good and young line up that can trouble even the best teams in the country.

He also pointed out the coach’s role in building up such a team. “We have one of the best and senior most coach in India. In his life, everything comes second to football,” he remarks.”Sreedharan sir knows each one of the player and where, how and when to play them.”

The 24 year old was also confident about his new teammate, Wisut Bunpeng’s capabilities. “He is a very good player and gets into good positions throughout a match. But he just needs to combine with other members. I am sure he can help the team to stay in the top division.”

Noushad ensures Viva will do wonders in the coming days and asks all the fans to support them as they are doing now in the coming days.....
