Manorama Gold Cup: Another upset as Akbar travels defeats SBT

Manorama Gold Cup All-India Football Tournament today saw yet another upset as Kerala State Club Champions SBT was defeated by Akbar Travels in the first league match of Group A at Seethi Haji Football Ground, Edavanna Malappuram

Akbar Travels Nigerian striker Ineg Bemnik Pedizo struck in 79th minute after SBT was reduced to 10 men. Defender Abdul Basheer was given marching orders after conceding a second yellow card of the game.

Akbar travels will play Josco FC in the second match of Group A tomorrow.
