Mohammed Aslam struck twice in a 28-minute spell as State Bank of Travancore (Thiruvananthapuram) blanked Central Excise (Kochi) 3-0 and entered the semifinals of the DDL Sports Bhagath Cup all-India football tournament at the Maharaja’s Stadium, Kochi on Monday night.
All the goals came in the first half. Aslam’s goals came in the 15th and 43rd minutes while K. Rakesh netted one in the 40th minute.
