Ijaz Ali to tour South Africa with India Under-16

The India Under-16 football team will travel to South Africa  for the Coca Cola International tour to be held from June 15th to June 20th, 2010.

Kerala's Ijaz Ali Kannan is also among the 16 boys selected for the international tour which will give the much needed exposure for the Indian junior national football teams. The 15 year old who has played for the Kerala junior teams alongside the likes of Hanan Javed and Anis K hails from Malappuram district and will control the Indian team's midfield.

Tellicherry born Satheevan Balan will be traveling with the team to South Africa as the assistant coach of the team. He is a former soccer coach at the Sports Authority of India.
