Don Bosco Senior Secondary School defeated Thiruvananthapuram International School 1-0 to be crowned champions of the seventh ICSE-ISC state inter-school football tournament for a record sixth time.
The all important goal in the final was scored by NileVinod. Both the teams met each other in the last year's final too with victors being Don Bosco in both occasions.
In the semi finals, Don Bosco edged past Hari Shree School, Thrissur by a lone goal, while International School had a more convincing win over Good Shepherd, Malappuram.
The tournament was inaugurated by former international women footballer and international referee, Ms. Bentila D'Coth. Anil Kumar (Development Officer, Asian Football Cooperation) gave away the prizes in the presence of Fr. Devassy Chirakel (Rector and Principal of Don Bosco HSS), Fr. Sebastian Ottaplackal (Manager, Don Bosco HSS), Fr. Babu Manissery (Administrator and Vice-Principal, DOn Bosco HSS) and Lijo Johny (PTA Vice-President).

Semi Finals: Don Bosco HSS 1-0 Hari Shree, Thrissur
Good Shepherd, Malappuram 0-3 Thiruvananthapuram International School
Final: Don Bosco HSS 1-0 International School
