Dhronacharya Trophy from tomorrow

Fourth Dhronacharya Trophy Football Championship conducted by the Ernakulam District Football Association (EDFA) for the Navy Day will be held at the Parade Ground, Fort Kochi from 20th November, 2010.

Eight teams from Kerala will participate in the tournament that will commence on November 28. Central Excise, Eagles FC, Golden Threads FC, Josco FC, Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB), Malabar United, State Bank of Travancore (SBT) and Universal Soccer Calicut are the eight teams participating in the tournament.

The winners of the tournament will bag the Dhronacharya Trophy and 1 lakh rupees. The runners up will get Rs. 50,000. The semi finals will be held on 25th and 26th and the final on 28th.

November 20, 2010 - Malabar United vs Golden Threads
November 21, 2010 – KSEB vs Central Excise
November 22, 2010 – Josco FC vs Universal Soccer FC
November 23, 2010 – SBT vs Eagles FC

Semi Finals: November 25, 2010 – Winner of Match 1 vs Winner of Match 2
November 26, 2010 – Winner of Match 3 vs Winner of Match 4

Final: November 28, 2010 – Winner of Semi Final 1 vs Winner of Semi Final 2
