Josco FC defeated Central Excise 2-1 to win their first major title for the club.
In the final of the Fourth Navy Week Football Championship for the Dhronacharya Trophy, Stephen Lijo and Biju Kumar scored for the Kochi based club. Bijesh Ben found the back of the net for Excise team.
The winning team was awarded the Dhronacharya Trophy plus Rs. 1 Lakh cash prize by Rear Admiral HCS Disht. Runners up were awarded Rs. 50,000. The Southern Navy Command Chief Vice Admiral KN Susheel also attended the function.
