Hosts Idukki thrashed Wayanad 8-1 to advance into the semi finals of the 15th Kerala State Senior Women's Football Championship being held at the Newman College Ground, Idukki.
The tournament was inaugurated by the president of Kerala Football Association (KFA), KMI Mather on the evening of February 11. Idukki will now face the winners of the match between Pathanamthitta and Thrissur today evening.
Idukki's Preeja scored half a dozen goals for her team while Reshma found the only goal for Wayanad.
