In their second outing in the 65th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, Kerala played out a goalless draw with Chandigarh in cluster IV at Tinsukia, Assam on Monday. Both teams failed to find the back of the net in the ninety minutes of play.
With this result, Kerala now has four points to their name from two matches while Chandigarh has one point from two matches as they went down 2-1 to Jharkhand in their first match. Jharkhand who also defeated Jammu and Kashmir 2-1 earlier today, tops the group with six points.
Kerala will play Jharkhand on Wednesday in their last group match that would be a do-or-die encounter for both teams, while Chandigarh will face Jammu and Kashmir on the same day. Kerala had earlier defeated Jammu and Kashmir 5-1 in the opening match.
Kerala will have to beat Jharkhand in their next match to go through, a draw will be enough for Jharkhand to advance to the knock out phase of the tournament.

Can we improve the analysis of the matches in a better way, its been mentioned in the earlier updates about the encounter with J&K that Kerala thrashed them. But the fact is J&K team played with a team without thier 6 main players. Please read the below page

Kerala, A team which was famous for thier football crazy people are not struggling to outplay the lower graded team of Indian states. Time to think and improve the current situation of football in Kerala

The site is mentioning that the team is without seven players every time Jammu and Kashmir lost..

Also, literally, doesn't a 5-1 thrashing count as a thrashing if a team is weak!!
