THODUPUZHA: T. Jishnu struck thrice as Malappuram crushed Thiruvananthapuram 4-1 and entered the quarterfinals of the 14th Kerala State under-21 inter-district football championship at the St. George School ground, Muthalakudam, on Monday.
In the other pre-quarterfinals, Wynad, riding on P. Shanavas’s two goals, drubbed Ernakulam 4-0, Kollam defeated Alappuzha 2-0 while Kozhikode blanked Kasargod 3-0.
