Malappuram defeated Kannur by a lone goal and entered the final of the 14th Kerala State under-21 football championship at Muthalakudam on Friday.
Sabith scored the match-winner in the fourth minute.
Malappuram will meet host Idukki in the final on Saturday while Thrissur and Kannur will fight for the third place.
