Santosh Trophy 2010 | Fixtures

The Santosh Trophy 2010 schedule has been announced by the All India Football Federation. As we all know by now, the 64th edition of the national football championship will be held from July 15, 2010 to August 8, 2010 at Kolkata.

The qualifying round matches will be played in eight clusters where 28 teams will fight for the 8 available spots in the next round. The winners of each clusters will qualify for the pre-quarter final knock out where four more teams will be knocked out before the quarter.

In the quarter finals, these teams will be pooled with last tournament's top four teams - Goa (winners), West Bengal (Runners-up), Tamil Nadu and Services (both semi finalists). Goa and Services will be placed in Group A while West Bengal and Tamil Nadu will fill the Group B.

The qualifying matches will take place from 15th July to 26th July, the pre-quarter finals on 28th July and quarter final leagues between 30th July and 4th August. The semi finals are slated for August 6 and the final showdown will be played on August 8, 2010.
