Viva Kerala will see a new coach for the season in PK Kunhikrishnan as the AFC A licensee obtained the required permission to commit with the team for the season.
Kunhikrishnan cleared AFC A license earlier this May along with the Secretary of the Thiruvananthapuram District Football Association, S. Geevarghese.
He has been working as a football coach at a school in England. He was former coach with Kerala police also worked as assistant coach of the Kerala Santosh Trophy team.
The team is currently training at Kannur where they will take on Salgaocar SC on the opening day of I league season on 26th Nov 2010
PK Kunhikrishnan hails from Kasaragod district.
