The venues and groups for the 2010-11 edition of I-League second division has been drawn out. The twenty one teams that qualified to play in the second division has been grouped into three pools each of seven teams.
The top two teams from each group will play in the final round matches where they will be joined by Shillong Lajong FC and Sporting Club de Goa. The top two from the final round will qualify for I-League 2011-12.
Five teams from Kerala, Chandni FC, Eagles FC, Golden Threads FC, Josco FC and Malabar United will feature in this season's second division. Chandni FC and Eagles FC are to play their preliminary round matches at Madurai in Tamil Nadu, while Josco FC and Malabar United will have to travel to Ranchi in Jharkhand. Golden Threads will be playing their matches at Assam. The fixtures for the tournament will be published by AIFF in the coming days.
