Comment policy

Comments are for discussing the football. Every comment is read by an editor before it appears.

Who can comment

Anyone aged 18 or over. Your name is shown; your email address never is.

What we don't publish

• abuse, threats, or personal attacks on players, officials, writers or other readers
• hate based on religion, caste, community, gender, language, region or anything similar
• other people's personal details, such as phone numbers or addresses
• claims about people that could be defamatory
• spam, advertising, betting links or links to pirated streams
• anything illegal, or pretending to be someone else

Comments in English or Malayalam are both welcome. Criticism of clubs, players, organisers and of us is fine; keep it civil.

Removing a comment

To remove your own comment, or to complain about one, use the contact page. We review complaints promptly and remove comments that break this policy or the law.

Our decision

We may decline or remove any comment. We don't edit comments, so a comment is either published as written or not at all.
